UFC 129 in Toronto is finally here! Everyone in Ontario has waited a long time for this and we are now in FIGHT WEEK!

There a so many events going on throughout the week, how will you choose which ones to attend? Well you can join the Lights Out crew, UFC's Nick "The Promise" Ring, Canadian MMA Fighter Brad Cardinal, badass coach Lee Mein and many more during fight week.

On Wednesday April 27th everyone above will be hosting an MMA Seminar in Kitchener, ON. It is a great opportunity for some solid training, tips from the pro's, strength & conditioning drills and much more.

Then on Thursday April 28th there will be a Meet & Greet with Nick Ring and the other pro's in downtown Toronto. This will take place at Silks Sports Bar, 2291 Yonge St. in Toronto. Come by for some autographs, get your picture taken and possibly win some free swag. The meet & greet will take place between 4-10pm at Silks.

Stop by The Fight Boutique's booth at the UFC Fan Expo on Friday & Saturday to pick up the latest Lights Out gear and much more. We look forward to meeting all of you.

Finally, FIGHT DAY! Our SkyBox is almost full but there are just a couple of tickets left. Join all of us in the luxury SKYBOX, some of the best seats in the house!

Team Lights Out fighters will be entering the cage for war on Saturday, February 12th at XCC Battle at the Border in Port Huron, MI. We will have three fighters competing in this event. They have been training hard and are ready to put it all on the line!

XCC Battle at the Border

This past weekend Lights Out fighter Jared Hirlehey had his second MMA fight at XCC Battle at the Border in Port Huron, MI. Jared took on Michigan's Brandon Dercemer in a catch weight bout at 160lbs. After a good training camp at Defensive Arts Training Centre in St. Catharines, ON, Jared was well prepared.

He came out with a couple of punches and the fight went to the ground quickly where J-Rock ended up in side control. Seconds later he moved to mount, found separation and began to ground and pound his opponent, landing a number of unanswered punches, sending his mouth guard flying across the ring until the ref stopped the fight at 50 seconds of round one! Great fight and the game-plan was followed, we are proud of Jared.

XCC Battle at the Border was a great event with over 20 fights including 5 title fights. Many of the fights were Canada vs. USA....Canada came out on top of all but just a couple of fights. Woodrow James and the XCC crew put on a great event and we look forward to the next one.

Lights Out Website Re-Launch & UFC 121

We are very excited to announce the re-launch of our website www.lightsoutfightwear.com next week. The LO crew has decided to change a number of things up on the site in order to make us more accessible. We will be adding a training section with tips from certified trainers, fighters and coaches. There will be a section for our management team as we are managing fighters as they try to further their careers as Mixed Martial Artists.

Lights Out will be hosting a UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Valasquez party on Saturday October 23rd at Player's Bar & Grill in St. Catharines, ON. We will have a number of our new designs on hand as well as giveaways throughout the night. Come on out and join us if you are in the area!

Jordan Murray

Lights Out heavyweight fighter Jordan Murray is fighting this Saturday night at CCF 5 in Edmonton, Alberta. Murray is currently on a 3 fight winning streak and is a top contender on the circuit in Western Canada.

Murray looks to continue his streak on Saturday vs. Jon Chabonneau with a highlight reel finish. He is one of the busiest fighters out there right now and at just 23 years old he is looking to keep moving up the ladder.

CCF 5 has adopted the old Pride Fighting Championship rules for this event so look for some different things out of these guys.

Go cheer on our Lights Out fighter Jordan "No Mercy" Murray this Saturday night....you won't be disappointed.

Calgary Bound

We are heading out West to Calgary, Alberta this weekend to get some things going!

If any of you are in Calgary look for us at Rumble In The Cage 38 at Flames Central on Saturday January 23rd. It will be a great night of fights so keep an eye out for us walking around the event and you may score yourself some free gear!

Anyone from the Calgary area should also check out the Rusty Cage Bar 'N' Grill on Saturday February 6th as we are hosting UFC 109 Couture vs. Coleman. It will be a great night of fights and we will be giving away Lights Out prizes all night long!

MMA Expo 2009

We recently took part in the MMA Expo in Toronto, ON. This was our second year setting up at this event so we wanted to one up ourselves from the previous year. We were located at a corner booth with lots of traffic so our crew decided to build a half cage as our booth.

The building process included some late nights with great friends but came together a few days prior to the event. We arrived Saturday morning for a 5:00am set up and it went relatively flawless considering it was our second time setting it up and first time setting up the whole thing. The booth was a half cage with blood splatter all over it and we got many great compliments on it. Thanks to my boys for all the hard work!

The Expo went great this year. They put over 5,ooo people through the door and had MMA trials and grappling tournaments going on throughout both days. We exceeded our sales goals for the weekend moving a lot of product and making a lot of new friends. The main thing is there is tons or new LO product being showcased on a daily basis by all of you and we thank you for that!

The Summer of '09 has started off with a bang and we are going to keep moving forward. Stayed tuned for more updates!
